1) I believe that our students should have more of a voice when it comes to what they are learning, including what they are assessed on. Sometimes I feel that the curriculum is more teacher centered rather than student centered. As far as their feedback on this assessment data, as I stated earlier, I believe that we need to make the time to enter their data ourselves, rather than having them do it. But, that is if our assessment data is authentic as we believe it to be. 2) I believe we should continue to collect data on our Essential Learnings. 3) If the student can illustrate a better understanding of the Essential Learnings, then I believe that the interventions are successful. Again, we need to be creating authentic assessments and interventions.
